The "Soaring Creativity - O2O Hong Kong Pavilion" (hereinafter referred to as "Soaring Creativity") project is jointly organized by Hong Kong Publishing Federation Limited and The Hong Kong Printers Association, and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) to promote the outstanding creativity and achievements of Hong Kong's publishing and printing industries.  The Soaring Creativity – Hong Kong Pavilion at this year’s Bologna Children’s Book Fair It sets up the "Hong Kong Pavilion" in the Bologna Children's Book Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Hong Kong Pavilion”) on 31st March to 3rd April 2025 with more than 900 children's and parent-child books, as well as print works and other exhibits from over 60 Hong Kong publishers and printers, representing Hong Kong's creativity and excellence in printing and publishing.
For the first time, the project collaborates with Ocean Park Hong Kong, inviting an experienced caretaker from the latter’s professional team to host a special session in the "Hong Kong Pavilion" to share insights into giant panda conservation with global visitors, further promoting the story of Hong Kong. To mark the occasion, the "Hong Kong Pavilion" held the Launch Cocktail Party on 31st March) with Mrs. Lowell Cho, Assistant Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Ms. Fiona Li, Deputy Representative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels, Mr. Chen Pengming, Head of the Chinese Delegation at Bologna Children’s Book Fair and Ms. Francesca Puglisi, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of BCBF, as the officiating guests. They were joined by Mr. Matthew Yum, Chairman of "Soaring Creativity-Hong Kong Pavilion 2025" Organizing Committee, Mr. Alex Yan, Chairman of "Hong Kong Pavilion" in Bologna Children's Book Fair 2025, and Mr. Sheng Zhou, Committee Member of "Soaring Creativity - Hong Kong Pavilion 2025", at the ceremony.
